Plastic & Packaging

We are trying hard to remove plastics from our business and to use as much recycled packaging as possible.

We reuse most of the packaging we receive from our suppliers by incorporating it into the packing of our orders going out. We reuse cardboard boxes from a local tissue paper business.

Your orders will always be packed carefully, the delivery box may be cobbled together and the protective packaging may be mixed but we hope that you will be delighted with your purchase when you've unwrapped it.

The refund is for the goods and the delivery charge. Delivery charges and returned postage will be refunded if an item is faulty

What is a Giclee Print?

All of Moose Allain's prints are professionally printed in the U.K. by a specialist  printer, who is approved by the Fine Art Trade Guild. They are printed using a high quality printing process called Giclée Printing. A giclée (pronounced ‘Zhee-klay’) is the term for a high quality fine art digital print and refers to ink sprayed from a highly specialised large format printer.  He uses fade-resistant, archival inks and prints on 255-300gsm 100% Cotton, acid free archival paper.  This process ensures that, if kept out of the sun, your prints will remain true for many, many years. Giclée art prints are commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic exhibitions.

Where is best to hang my artwork?

We can tell you where not to hang it....Do not hang any prints or original artwork in direct sunlight. High or low humidity can also cause damage to artwork. Do not hang directly over any heat sources such as radiators or close to air conditioning units, and definitely not in the bathroom, though the toilet is often a great place to contemplate one of Moose's highly detailed pieces.
