I pierced an old tube with a paper clip… It squirted up into my eyes, immediately sealing them shut as I blinked. My hands flew to my eyes and started rubbing. Of course my hands then stuck to my face. I was looking after the kids on my own and imagined I would have to stagger into the street… …asking someone to help me. Of course I remembered it was developed to stick skin together so I thought I was in trouble. My then 5yo boy… very calmly said "Wash your eyes under the cold tap". Actually it all came unstuck fairly quickly. There was a moment though of horror… …and hilarity at the total absurdity. And now the main points of the news again.
